The World Keeps Turning - This is a wonderful, wonderful song. A little aside - I brought my girlfriend from PA back home with me for a week to where I grew up in New England, and she observed this great tension in people between their passion and their modesty, and she says she sees it in me too, which I guess is why I like Tom Waits and Elliott Smith, etc., because they express this tension so well - beautiful music with distraught lyrics. :)

    The World Keeps Turning from the Pollock Soundtrack is a great Waits Tune. Its an old sounding Piano ballad in the way Waits does....ie: brilliantly. Looking forward to his new album coming fall 2004.
