The irony of the rhythmic and 'light' music counterpointed with the ugliness of the subject (a metaphor for all sorts of problems, disabilities, disfunctionalisms - physical and mental) is one of Wait/Brennan's trademarks. And then we go straight into the more obvious pathos of the soundscape of Lost in the Harbour. Pure brilliance - and good old-fashioed showmanship!
