This song perfectly describes my life, except for the suicide part. We'll see about that. It's one of the few songs that have actually made me cry. It echoes my own experiences so perfectly, it's uncanny. Oddly enough, of the few songs that had made me cry, all of them have been by Tom Waits. He's an amazing artist, and this song is just another testament to that fact. I'm surprised there hasn't been a musical based on Franks Wild Years yet, maybe I'll have to make one. |

The song "Poor Edward" is based on the real life of Edward Mordake. (I was just clued into this a few days ago) |

This song is unique in that way that it's beautiful and sad, but also creepy. It could very well be a horrortale or a love story. |

Brilliant, captivating, entrancing....the instrumental passage sounds like Brahms, with a stroh violin. |
