This song is extremely beautiful. From now on I'm going to put a flower on every flowers grave...but then that one will die, and I'll have to put a flower on its grave...Damn...This is complicated. Either way, this is one of the songs that really got me into Tom Waits, the imagery he uses is so powerful, and he doesn't attempt to be pretentious, everyone can identify with his lyrics.
